2015 Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Chilliwack Museum and Historical Society will take place on Saturday, May 2nd at 1:00 pm at the Chilliwack Museum (45820 Spadina Avenue).

The business of the meeting will be the presentation of the 2014 audited financial report, election of officers and directors and other such business that promotes the Society.

Chilliwack Poppy Project Now Online

The Poppy Project is an interactive online exhibit showing the home addresses of people listed on Chilliwack's War Memorial who died in the First and Second World Wars.

The exhibit is a collaboration between the University of the Fraser Valley and the Chilliwack Museum and Archives. UFV student Pierce Smith undertook research to determine where soliders, listed on the War Memorial, lived in Chilliwack.

Horses from the Mists of Time

Join artist Margaret Evans this Saturday Aug 9th from 12:00 - 2:00pm in the Chilliwack Museum's Chambers Gallery for the opening of her exhibit: Horses From the Mists of Time. This photographic exhibit explores the evolution of horses in North America over 50 Million years. The exhibit runs from August 9th – September 26th. Free admission on opening day.

Exhibit Opening: Chilliwack's Great War at Home and Overseas

Join us on August 4th for the opening of our newest annual exhibit: Chilliwack's Great War at Home and Overseas.

The exhibit honours the memory of those from Chilliwack whose lives were impacted and changed forever by the Great War.

The exhibit is open from 12:00 to 4:00pm. Free admission on opening day!
