Did you know that Chilliwack was one of the first British Columbia communities to build schools after 1871? Pictures and stories transport students back to the days of one and two room school houses. Students will handle slate and slate pencils and will learn about the Coqualeetza Industrial School that was established in Sardis in 1894.
